About our Leadership

J. Dugan Smith
Dugan is the managing member and principal of Factor Source. He is a skilled and experienced financial executive with proven expertise in areas of organizational management, strategic planning and execution, finance, financing and operations, process improvement, credit and product sales; Dugan is Six Sigma certified.

He is recognized for enthusiasm, high energy, problem solving ability and delivery of results. Previous experience includes banking, asset based lending and factoring company leadership and experience at Greystone, GE Capital, KBK Capital Corp, and two public Texas based banking concerns. He maintains a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Houston.

Genevieve "Gen" Merritt-Parikh
Gen is a financial executive with senior level management expertise and almost 15 years of commercial finance experience in areas of underwriting, auditing, marketing, and account and portfolio management. She has direct experience with factoring, asset based lending, SBA and traditional banking. Gen has provided consultancy to 45+ factoring franchise locations throughout the U.S. on all aspects of owning and operating a factoring company.

She is recognized for enthusiasm, high energy, problem solving ability and execution. Previous experience includes banking, asset based lending and factoring company leadership and experience at Liquid Capital Corp., Comresco Capital, Guaranty Business Credit and Southwest Bank. She maintains a B.A. in Business and Economics from the University of Texas.
